We’re Recruiting: District Volunteer Development Team Leader
Cannock Chase District Scouts are looking for an experienced and motivated District Volunteer Development Team Leader to help shape, support, and grow volunteering across our District.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing and supporting a Volunteer Development Team and ensuring a high-quality volunteer journey, from recruitment and Welcome conversations through to training, ongoing support, and recognition.
We’re looking for someone who has:
• Experience managing and leading a team
• A strong understanding of UK Scout training and learning pathways
• Knowledge of volunteer recruitment and Welcome conversations
• Experience with First Response Training
• An understanding of Volunteer Recognition within Scouting
• A passion for supporting volunteers to feel confident, valued, and well-prepared in their roles
